Keystone Park is KwaZulu-Natal’s only custom-designed logistics, warehousing and light industrial “precinct” located on the N3, Western Corridor which falls within the eThekwini Metro. The precinct benefits from direct access to the N3 via the Hammarsdale interchange, being the primary national Durban to Johannesburg transport route.
Keystone Park precinct has a strong retail logistics focus, easily accessible to both the Durban port and the new proposed inter-modal hub in Cato Ridge. Furthermore, the precinct has been zoned, “Logistics Zone 2” ensuring a non-pollutant, clean, odour and dust free operating environment, being the essential characteristics for a retail Distribution Centre. Further to this, the multi-lane road network layout within the precinct ensures optimum traffic flows particularly with regards to road width as well as wide turning circles while both the N3 Hammarsdale interchange and adjacent regional access road (Main Road 385) are being upgraded in support of the logistics activities. The location of the precinct together with the design and layout of the sites within the precinct make it a truly unique logistics precinct that will ensure both time and cost optimizations.
